Ik ben Lorenzo Caboni, 14 jaar oud en woon in Nederweert. De sport die ik beoefen is breaking. Ik doe dit al vanaf dat ik 7 jaar was. Ik train iedere dag met uitzondering van de dagen dat ik aan het reizen ben naar wedstrijden. Toen ik 10 jaar was werd ik Nederlands kampioen in de jeugd klasse. In het totaal ben ik 3 keer Nederlands kampioen geweest. Verder werd ik op mijn 12de Wereld kampioen in de jeugd klasse.
Ik zit op 3 Atheneum en heb een LOOT status, wat inhoud dat ze rekening houden met mijn training en wedstrijdschema, tot nu toe is de combinatie topsport en school goed te combineren.
Breaking zal in 2024 onderdeel zijn van de Olympische spelen in Parijs en in 2022 onderdeel zijn van de Jeugd Spelen in Dakar. Voor mij is het dan ook een doel om hier naar toe te werken en mij hiervoor proberen te kwalificeren.
Verder is mijn grote doelstelling om de volgende 2 titels in de toekomst te behalen:
- Undisputed World finals
- Red Bull BC One World Finals
De belangrijkste periode voor mij wordt de transitie fase van jeugd naar volwassen break en dit is dan ook waar ik me de komende 2 jaar volledig op ga focussen!
